SUDAKAYOGA

I wanted to dedicate one page of this website to my Buddhist teacher Urgyen Sangarakshita. He has his own website, but I wanted to honour him in my own way here.

I mainly know him through his writing and through listening to his talks. More recently he came to Valencia and stayed in our place for a few days, so I got a chance to be around him and enjoy his presence. He is now an elderly gentleman (he was born in 1925) and I could not help think that if I get to his age and in such good humour and wakefulness, I would have lived a good long life.

Much has flourished out of his efforts to communicate the Buddhas teaching and establish a vibrant living spiritual community. I personally have benefitted and continue to benefit from my encounter with the Dharma Wisdom tradition and continue draw inspiration from his work.

I wish that many more beings will benefit from his work and that he will live a long and graceful life.
