dreaming-anew-reimagenarnosIts been crazy! Some of us more than two months looking at the walls of our flat, stealing walks out into the big wide world. Fear of getting the new unknown weird illness, fear of our neighbours, fear of losing all our work and income, fear of losing loved ones and friends, fear and loathing in the time of the Coronavirus! And then there is the harsh reality of it all. No doubt some of us have suffered are suffering directly.

Who wants that? No one!

But it is what it is and what can we do?

And then also there are the surprising acts of generosity, the effort we are making to be friendly to neighbours we have maybe never spoken too. There is the tremendous effort, life-risking work of the "essential" workers, paid a pittance for risking their lives day after day; the shop workers, on the supermarket check out, the fruit and vegetable pickers living in dire conditions just down the coast here in Spain. The frontline hospital workers, doctors, nurses, cleaners. The police doing there job, ambulance drivers, trash-bin men, the guys sending out online purchases. All of that infrastructure that keeps civilisation going.

What next? Who knows? So many unknowns.

Anyways not sure why I said all that. Bodhiyoga has had to reinvent itself. For now we are making our contribution, Online offerings. I have been surprisingly satisfied with the last two meditation courses we have run. These days we are all more accustomed to communicating via video calls. (I remember when Skype launched many years back, making calls from pokey telecommunication shops in the backstreets of el Borne Barcelona.

I encourage you to think what you want to do with your life. Now is a great time to reinvent, reimagine yourself, your family and how you want to be.
