Hi all, a short message from me. I have had a couple weeks at the end of the year with a little more space, an opportunity to reflect back on the year and get into some report style writing! I have written three pieces, a shabda letter last month, a letter to the WIndhorse Trust and a Directors report. For anyone interested I do post most material up onto Suryavana website blog and to the Suryavana page on buddhist centre online. 2025 has been a good year on the whole. We can say that. There is now a dedicated 50 square metre shrineroom (the first step to building the larger 90 square metre Shrineroom) and a little Stupa (about 2m high) which creates its own magic.
My desire has been to develop a sustainable set up and life here, one that in a few years I can move on from and the project handed on to others. This year has provided a few more steps in that direction.
There has been lots of rain making for a Wintry atmosphere. It's harder work being here in the Winter. The wood burner is on all day and all night to keep the place warm. I am grateful to the opportunity to be here now and mostly enjoy the challenges. I am fortunate to be accompanied by some great friends and colleagues and an understanding companion, Jesu. Long may all that continue.
